A beautiful prayer that I absolutely love praying is the called "Prayer of Ismael". The spirits love this prayer and the energy is very strong when it is prayed. Below I have recorded the prayer for you in Portuguese. Here the English prayer to read.
Prayer of Ismael
Glory to God in the highest; peace to men on earth!
Jesus, good and beloved Master,
Sustain your humble, sinning brothers in the battles here on earth.
Blessed angel of the Lord, open for us Your compassionate embraces
Protect us from evil
Lift our spirits to the Majesty of your Kingdom,
And infuse in all our senses,
The light of Your immense Love.
Jesus, through your sublime sacrifice,
through your martyrdom on the cross,
Give to those who find themselves burdened with weighty clothing -
Give to them the perfect orientation of the path of virtue -
The only path that can let us find You.
Jesus, peace to them,
Forgiveness to our enemies
And receive in Your blessed breast
The prayer of the least of Your servants.
Blessed Star, Lighthouse of the Immortal "phalanges",
Purify us with Your Divine rays;
Cleanse us of all our guilt;
Attract us to move close to Your breast,
The blessed sanctuary of all love.
If the world, with its errors, passions and hates,
Strews the path with needles,
Darkening our horizon with clouds of sin,
brighten more with Your forgiveness,
In order that secure and aided in Your message
We can overcome the difficulties of the way
And reach the dwellings of Your kingdom.
Friend - Star - Lighthouse of both sinners and the just,
Open Your Divine breast
And receive our supplication -
For all humanity.
Let it be thus.
The Prayer of Caritas is a prayer that is well known in all spiritual centres in Brazil. This is a strong prayer that is used to purity our soul and as protection. “Caritas” (“Charity”) was a spirit that communicated through the medium Madame W. Krell who lived in Bordeaux, France, and was one of the most important writing (psychographic) mediums in the history of spiritism. Caritas dictated the prayer to Madame Krell who channelled the prayer on the night of 25 December 1873. It is believed that Caritas was the incarnation of Irene in a previous life. Irene was burnt at the stake in Rome in the year 305. She was later canonised and known as Saint Irene.
Here is the prayer in English for you to enjoy:
Prayer of Caritas
God, our Father, who is all power and goodness,
give strength to those who go through tribulations;
give light to those who seek the truth,
and fill the human heart with compassion and charity.
God, give the guiding star to the traveler,
consolation to the afflicted,
and rest to the sick.
Father! Give repentance to the guilty,
truth to the spirit,
guidance to the child and a father to the orphan.
Lord! May your goodness extend over everything that You have created.
Mercy, Lord, to those who do not know You
And hope to those who suffer.
May Your goodness allow the consoling spirits
to spread peace, hope, and faith everywhere.
God! A ray of light and a spark of Your love can inflame the Earth.
Let us drink from the fountains of this abundant and infinite goodness,
and all tears will be dried,
and all pain will be lessened.
A single heart, a single thought will rise to you,
like a cry of gratitude and love.
Like Moses on the mountain, we await for You with open arms.
Oh! Goodness, oh! Beauty, oh! Perfection,
and we wish in some way to deserve Your mercy.
God! Give us the strength to help progress so we may rise up to You:
give us pure charity;
give us faith and reason;
and above all, give us the simplicity and the humility that will make of our souls
a mirror in which your divine image will be reflected.
Over the past years, açaí has been made popular around the world. It is a fruit of the Amazon and a true superfood! I'll post some pictures and info later but just wanted to share this article I found on the web about new findings on açaí! Here's the link to the article on NaturalNews! Enjoy!
How is life in Abadiania?
Life here is quiet, peaceful and simple. There is not much to do in Abadiania apart from the spiritual work at the Casa de Dom Inacio. There are about 18.000 inhabitants living in a village that is divided by the BR60 (highway), the road that leads to Brasilia and going the other way to Anapolis or Goiania. On one side of the highway, the larger side, there are banks, supermarkets and shops. On the other side where the Casa Dom Inacio is situated, there are many shops selling white clothes, crystal shops, pousadas and hotels, the cafe Frutti's and two pizzerias. The village has no cinema and no other attractions to see. It is not exactly a beautiful place although visitors fall in love with it easily.
So what else is there to do...?
The three Casa days (Wednesday until Friday) where John of God is present and incorporating the entities are busy and the energy work is tiring so the four days off in between are ideal to integrate the work and relax. Visitors appreciate the time of rest. On Saturday, we wake up, cleansed and refreshed and contempt of the work that has been done during the week. Sunday, most shops are closed. It is a slow life on Sundays. At the Casa, we have the Sunday morning prayer and singing gathering at 09:00 am until 10:00 am. The Casa closes at 13:00 on Sundays. During the week, the Casa is open from 05:00 am until 07:00 pm. The spiritual work of the spirit entities that work through John of God is just amazing! Apart from the treatments at the Casa from Wednesday until Friday, there is a small waterfall to visit which also is a treatment by the entities. The Casa waterfall is also a place people enjoy going to during their free time. Sometimes we get to see blue morphos, the beautiful blue butterflies, or monkeys. It's a quick taxi ride (for those who had interventions) or a nice stroll of about 15 minutes. Embedded in trees and scrubs, the place is very special as it is a place of treatment. The entities do healing work on us in the form of cleansing there. We also take crystal bed sessions over the weekends. The treatment is a wonderful way to relax and have some work done by the entities.
The garden at the Casa Dom Inacio is a beautiful place to spend time during the weekend to read a book, meditate or contemplate life. When you come, bring a book about the Casa and John of God's work so you can read it while you are here or buy one in English at the Casa shop. It's recommended to fully immerse yourself in the work here. Read a book in the garden on the weekend and let your mind calm down. Do a meditation in the garden or on the overlook. Some may chose to contemplate life with open eyes as the view of nature is just incredible. We enjoy the view of toucans hopping around in the trees, aras flying by, canary birds singing and beautiful butterflies that visit the flowers in the garden. It's a paradise, an oasis of high energy.
There are lots of crystal shops in Abadiania. It's fun to look at all the crystals, jewellery and little souvenirs these shops sell. From huge crystals to pocket sized ones, you'll find the perfect one for yourself. Frutti's is a great place to spend some hours relaxing, chatting with new friends or reading a book. You can get an acai, coffee, tea, fresh juices, a light meal or a full on burger with fries. There are seats out in the front where you can see people going by or seats in the back in the garden under the trees. Upstairs is also a new and beautiful space complete with sofa and hammock. The palm trees have grown so high that you enjoy a panorama view of green! My favourite place! Saturday evening they offer "Bring your talent night" where you can sing, play music, dance, ... whatever talent you wish to bring! It's a lot of fun and a change to the quiet time we have.
We get up early and go to bed early, too. It gets dark around 07:00 pm and since there is not much to do anyway, sleeping early is a good option. Things do not function as they do in first world countries and it takes a while to get used to it. You can't leave your mobile or laptop charging while there is a thunder storm because it might damage the phone or laptop.
Abadiania's climate is basically just two seasons: dry season and rainy season. In the dry season, it gets really dry! Dust everywhere! Some roads are not paved yet they are so dusty. The cold wind in the dry season blows the dust all over. The dry season starts in March and ends around September. In October the rain starts and December and January we have most rain (although here the weather has changed and we had some years very little rain and starting late in the year). First time visitors are sometimes hesitant to come during the rainy season because they do not know what to expect. It is far better than most imagine during rainy season! Rain comes but it passes and as soon as the rain is gone, the sun shines again and it all dries up. The streets turn into a stream within a few minutes of strong rain and everyone stays inside. It can last half hour and suddenly it stops, the sun comes out and dries up the road and people come out again. We quickly learned that any meeting set up in the rainy season is delayed until the rain shower passes and everyone knows it. Only the foreign tourists go out in the rain with umbrella and rain boots! The Brazilians stay inside and wait for the rain to pass. It is too much of a hassle to have everything wet, shoes, jeans and jacket.... Much easier to wait.
This is just a little peak into life in Abadiania and although everyone experiences it is his/her own way, they all agree.... the work of the entities is incredible and we receive much more than what we initially came here for.
About two months ago, the Entities have opened a new space for us to do current work (meditation): the overlook out in the garden of the Casa de Dom Inacio. Visitors who come to be treated at the Casa Dom Inacio and receive a spiritual intervention are not able to go back to the inside current to do the meditation and therefore, the space at the overlook was opened. Now people can go to current after their 24-hour rest.
It was a wonderful surprise and honour to me to receive the Entity's blessings to be the medium to hold the space for the participants. My role is to lead the current work by reading prayers and care for the participants in case they need something. Every day I learn something else. I had no idea I would be able to feel when participants open their eyes during the work but I experience it now. The deep (energetic) silence is interrupted as soon as one person opens their eyes and looks around. When everyone has their eyes closed, their focus is on the inside and they enter in a deep state of meditation and inner silence. As soon as the eyes are open, the energy's flow is cut and interrupted and the work of the good spirits is stopped for the one opening their eyes. Through reading the prayers during the work, the energy of the prayers read is magnified and showered over the meditators. When people enter the current and disrupt the harmony for a little, I read a prayer to balance the energy. Also when people are finding it difficult to keep their eyes closed or are restless, I read a prayer and guide them into meditation and silence. It is beautiful work and I am grateful to do it.
As explanation of the word current: The word used in Portuguese is 'corrente' which translates into English as 'current'. In Portuguese, it has two meanings: chain and current/stream. During the energy work, we sit with our eyes closed, legs and arms uncrossed on benches, one person next to the other and do our prayers. We are connected like the links of a chain and at the same time, the energy that is moved and manipulated by the spirit entities is running through us like a stream. Therefore, it is called 'current'. Personally, I do not like using the word meditation to describe the work in the current rooms because when defining meditation, we think more of focusing the mind on a particular object or thought to enter a state of calmness and tranquility. In the current rooms, much more is happening. The entities are present and are manipulating our energy field to do healing work on us. The good spirits are working on us, cleansing us, inspiring us through thoughts, visions and feelings. At the same time, our presence is used to work on the other people who are in line, passing in front of the meditators to go see the entity. Those who are sitting in current, are therefore receiving and giving at the same time. The length of the time that they sit in current, depends on how many people are passing in front of the entity and which entity is attending the visitors that day. Some entities work faster, some entities like to converse more. Current opens at 07:00 for the current in the inside rooms of the Casa, where the line passes to go in front of the entity. For the outside current at the overlook, people can arrive at 07:30. The work outside at the overlook is opened the same time as inside: 07:45. The length of the time is equal for inside and outside current rooms: until the last person has passed in front of the entity.
The overlook is situated in the Casa gardens, a beautiful space. The view is breathtaking and we have toucans visiting us at the starting time of the current. Black birds and canaries come during the work and sing for us.
When we started with the work out at the overlook, we had the cement mixer going (two at some point!) and lots of noise from the construction of the new Casa Book Shop. The Book Shop is almost finished now so the cement mixer is thankfully no longer needed.
Inside the current rooms as well as at the outside current room, we have various sources of noise that challenge us during our focus on our inside. Osho, the Indian guru, once said you need to be able to meditate on the market place. He meant that whatever noises are outside of us, around us, should not matter. Our focus has to remain on the inside. The more focus we have, the less outside noises are disturbing us. The more we get balanced inside, the less outside movement and noises are interrupting our work. On the contrary, a cement mixer can sound soothing! Whatever your background and experience in meditation, the spirit entities will help you to find silence inside and guide you into trance to be able to sit hours on end and receive this wonderful work.
During a two or three week trip, much can be achieved. Of course this depends on the individual's availability and readiness to do the inner work but if that is a given, everything is possible! No matter how old you are or what your background is. It is never too late for us to heal inner trauma, no matter how long we have had to struggle with it.
Often, childhood traumas are released and healed. We come in touch with the shadow part of ourselves. How good to have a friend by our side who will listen without judgement and hold our hand during an emotional release! Coming in touch with these difficult issues is often painful but with the help of the entities and your guide, the transformation can happen quicker than in other settings. We are not alone! Spirit guides are around us all the time during the stay in Abadiania and they do not wish to see us suffer. They want to see us happy and laughing! They try to make it as smooth and easy for us as possible. When we are ready, we face what we need to see. We realise that a present behaviour pattern is linked to a certain past trauma and are then able to have it healed. The spirit entities take us step by step deeper to meet ourselves - when we are ready. We are never overwhelmed by the work in the sense that it would be too much because the entities take very good care of us and only take us as far as we are ready to go. It is the most beautiful work!
When people leave Abadiania to return to their homes, they are cleansed of heavy energies and their eyes are sparkling! You will not be the same person upon leaving Abadiania as you were when you came, that is for sure!
It is amazing to see that in a short period of time, true transformation can happen. It is not guaranteed to happen but if you are open and your intention is to give it a try, you will see results. The ones that have prepared themselves by already doing some inner work, find it easier to do their inner work. If you haven't started any inner process, you will be guided into your process and it will be a start of inner reflection for you. A beautiful path that is life changing. Your guide will take you on the journey wherever your starting point! Be brave, book your trip and start your transformation!
This year's birthday celebration of John of God's birthday were held on 22 June 2018. As every year, John of God works Wednesday, Thursday and Friday all day incorporating the spirit doctors that give treatment to the visitors that come to see him. After this immense work, John of God walked slowly from his office in the Casa to the stage that was set up at the parking lot across from the Casa. Visitors had the opportunity to take pictures with him during this time so that it took about twenty minutes for him to make his way to the stage. Many politicians were present as well as actors who came to honour John of God during the first part of the celebrations. On stage, beautiful words were said about him while his young daughter (three years old) played with my daughter running (four years old) around amusing the onlookers. Dona Ana, John of God's wife, also held a speech emphasising how dedicated her husband is to the spiritual work. Every night he wakes up to do the long distance healing work praying over the hundreds of letters and pictures that are placed in the prayer triangle and prayer basket. Even if he lays down to sleep at 04:00 am, he wakes up at 05:00 again to prepare to leave his home in Anapolis to drive to Abadiania (about half hour drive) and receive the hundreds of people that come to ask for healing. We honoured John of God by raising our right hand and sending our good vibrations and love energy to him. After the speeches, we enjoyed fireworks and a bonfire. John of God made his way to the VIP tent where he celebrates with his friends and family. On the stage, a band started playing Brazilian music and the visitors could line up for drinks and snacks at the tents provided by the pousadas (guesthouses). Inside the VIP tent, the atmosphere was light and happy with tables beautifully decorated. We were indicated our table but my daughter wanted to play in the kids' corner so we didn't immediately find our place. Upon entering the tent, we greeted John of God who gave us a big smile confirming that he is really happy to see all his friends and Casa volunteers on his birthday party. We took a picture with him and kept walking around a little. While people were still being seated, the buffet was being prepared. Piglet, rice, beans, salad, were served after a starter of little snacks. We could hear the music from the stage outside and my foot was tapping. The kids' corner was prepared with love: little toys, balloons, stuffed animals and tiny chairs on a carpet so the children were entertained. Three teenage girls played with the small children so the parents could sit on their tables and converse. After dinner it was time for the cutting of the cake! The cake was blue and white, the colours of the Casa Dom Inacio, and Dona Ana, John of God and his little daughter Marianna stood behind the cake (while Marianna was actually standing on the table next to the cake!). Marianna and John of God cut the cake together. Everyone was given a slice of the cake and it was delicious. Creamy, white and blue! At around 10:30 pm a man with a beautiful voice started playing and singing. It was kind of spiritual music that must have been inspired by the entities (as the singer himself also said). We left the party at 11:40 pm to go home to rest after another wonderful day in Abadiania at the Casa.
I was only able to take one picture from that night but hope to post some from friends in the coming weeks!
Having worked on the door at the Casa de Dom Inacio until April 2018 organizing the lines of the visitors that come to see John of God, the wish for a change of place of service grew and the spirits opened a new opportunity by placing me at the overlook in the Casa gardens holding current meditations there. What a blessing to be able to guide the meditations outside, surrounded by nature's voices! The energy has been building and growing stronger over the weeks. It does not matter if there are two or sixty people sitting in current - at 07:45 on the dot, I close the little gate and start with the opening prayers. During this time, no one is allowed to enter or exit so we can build the energy for the work. At around 08:00, the opening prayers are finished and I open the gate again for late arrivals to come in and join the work. Of course, it is best to be present during the opening prayer and closing prayers but it is allowed to arrive late and leave early. The benches are a little hard since they are made of wood without cushions but if you bring a cushion, you're good to go. In the mornings, it can be a bit windy and in the afternoon very hot. I was humbled to see even during rain, people would sit during the entire current. I sometimes bring my rain jacket because it gets cold when I stand in the front where the rain blows in and it was really special to see how people sat during the work, some looked cold yet they would not leave. Even a ten-year old girl sat for such a long time. It showed their dedication and love for the work. After the work, sometimes people look at me as if they are "in the know" about something secret, their eyes glowing. We look into each others eyes and we know. It's like one says "Did you feel it too?" and the other nods saying "Yes!" Some say "thank you" as they pick up their cups of blessed water after the work and leave the space. Some still have tears in their eyes.... their gratefulness for the work of the entities and love for them shows. We are all deeply touched! Friday afternoon after a week's work, we are happy and tired but Wednesday morning, we are back with renewed strength and our love and dedication in our hearts to start a new week full of blessings from the spirit world.
